Project Description – Major external refurbishment to this grade A listed building. Main Church and Presbytery stonework and re-roofing with minor internal repairs.
Role – After a traditional tendering process we were appointed Main Contractor.
The project involved completely stripping off the roof slates and carrying out rot repair works, renewing the roof including new slates and cast iron gutters and downpipes, cutting out defective and worn stone and replacing with natural stone indents to match existing, hacking out and re-pointing the lime mortar joints, specialist stained glass window restoration works and minor internal refurbishment works.
