Project Description – Strip off and reinstate felt and tiled roofs, render and various other fabric reinstatement works after a major fire.
Role – After a traditional tender process Sim Building Group were appointed Main Contractor for the construction of the works.
Following extensive fire damage, we undertook the demolition of fire damaged structural walls and pre-cast concrete balconies, internal strip-out, the construction of a new roof with concrete tile finish, complete reinstatement of all gutters, downpipes, fascia’s and soffits, installation of new pre-cast concrete balconies and re-rendering of the entire building.
Close and regular communication with all of the team including client and consultants ensured there were no issues in successfully completing this project on time and within budget.
