Project Description – New build 34 social needs houses and flats.
Role – After a collaborative negotiation process we were appointed Main Contractor to carry out this project under a design and build contract.
Lengthy discussions with Planning Departments, Roads Departments, Historic Scotland, Building Control and Ecology Specialists took place and all approvals were obtained to allow the project to proceed.
A disused grade ‘B’ listed building was demolished to allow the construction of the development that includes 23 flats and 11 houses for all social needs.
A very good relationship was maintained with all of the involved parties including client, consultants, sub-contractors and neighbours.
A Considerate Contractors ‘Gold Standard Certificate’ was awarded on this project.
The project was on budget and delivered 2 months ahead of schedule.
